Douglas Killian is the superintendent of the Pflugerville Independent School District. Killian was appointed superintendent on July 1, 2017. Killian's previous career experience includes working as a first-grade teacher of the United Independent School District and as the superintendent of the Poteet Independent School District and the Huffman Independent School District.[1]

Past superintendents[edit]

  • Alex Elias Torrez was the superintendent of the Pflugerville Independent School District from 2013 to 2017. Torrez's previous career experience included working as the assistant superintendent for secondary education of the Clear Creek Independent School District.[2][3]

School board elections[edit]

The Pflugerville Independent School District board of trustees consists of seven members who are elected to three-year terms. All board members are elected at large by place.[4]
