Rachel Bly was a 2012 Democratic candidate for District 76 of the Iowa House of Representatives.
Bly attended Drake University, receiving an MPA degree. She also earned a bachelor's degree in political science from Grinnell College.[1]
Bly's website highlighted the following campaign themes:[1]
"I am a candidate for House District 76 because it is time for Iowans to focus on what really matters – jobs, an educated work force, our children, and basic rights and services for all people. I am running because I know we can work together to find the common ground."
Bly ran in the 2012 election for Iowa House of Representatives District 76. She ran unopposed in the Democratic primary on June 5, 2012, and was defeated by David E. Maxwell (R) in the general election on November 6, 2012.[2][3]
