Annapolis, Maryland: On Tuesday, Republican David R. Craig, a possible Republican candidate for the governor of Maryland, will announce his running mate to be delegate Jeannie Haddaway-Riccio. Haddaway-Riccio represents district 37B and has been on the General Assembly for a decade. She is also a small-business owner who reportedly understands the small towns and those who struggle to make ends meet.[1]

As early as Craig's announcement is, one other gubernatorial candidate has already announced his running mate. Lt. Gov. Anthony Brown (D) decided on Ken Ulman as his running mate in early June. Another prominent potential candidate, Delegate [[Ronald George (R-3), is reportedly deciding between a group of about 5 prospective running mate possibilities.[1]
