Richard D. Wells was a district court judge for the 65A District Court in Michigan.[1] He was appointed to the court by former Governor John Engler in 1993 and retired from the bench at the end of his final term on January 1, 2015.[2]

Wells received his undergraduate degree from Michigan State University and his J.D. degree from Wayne State University.[3]
