Scott D. Rosenberg
is a district judge of Iowa District 5C. He was appointed to this position in 1997. Rosenberg was retained to another six-year term in the 2010 general election. He was retained again in the general election on November 8, 2016.[1][2]
Rosenberg earned an undergraduate degree from the University of Iowa in 1976 and a J.D. from Drake University in 1979.[1]
He served as a district associate judge from 1992 until his appointment as a district judge in 1997. Prior to his appointment to the district associate bench, he worked in private law, private business, and the state appellate defenders office. He also served as an assistant Polk County attorney.[1]
