The South Dakota Legislative Article Amendment, also known as Amendment C, was on the November 2, 1976 ballot in South Dakota as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment, where it was defeated. The measure would have amended articles of the South Dakota Constitution that related to the legislative department.^[1][2]
