The South Dakota Legislative Districts Amendment, also known as Amendment B, was on the November 5, 2002 ballot in South Dakota as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment, where it was defeated. The measure would have required the legislature to adopt a new plan for establishing legislative districts. The current laws required legislative districts to be established every ten years.[1][2]
