Jennifer Blaine is the superintendent of the Spring Branch Independent School District. Blaine was appointed superintendent on July 1, 2019. Blaine's previous career experience includes working as the district's associate superintendent for curriculum and instruction, associate superintendent for administration and operations, and associate superintendent for talent and operations.[1][2]
The Spring Branch Independent School District board of trustees consists of seven members elected to three-year terms. All board members are elected at large by position.[4]

Members of the board are elected annually in May to overlapping three-year terms.[4]

From 1993 to 2013, the Spring Branch Independent School District had an average of $274,476,762 in revenue and $297,817,714 in expenditures, according to the United States Census Bureau's survey of school system finances. The district had a yearly average of $371,127,048 in outstanding debt. The district retired $29,036,190 of its debt and issued $58,787,571 in new debt each year on average.[6]
