An effort to recall Tim Bergen from his position as a commissioner of Hamilton County, Nebraska, launched in October 2012, fell short in November 2012.[1] Bergen represents District 5.

Background[edit]

Hamilton County Surveyor Duane Katt initiated the recall effort. Of the 154 signatures turned in, 145 were verified. In order to force a recall election, recall supporters would have needed to collect 147 signatures.[1]
