Valerie Means is a member of the Minnesota Public Utilities Commission. She was appointed to this position by Gov. Tim Walz, effective April 22, 2019. Her term expires January 6, 2025.[1]
Prior to her appointment, Means was a mediator on the Minnesota Supreme Court’s Roster of Qualified Neutrals. Her professional experience includes serving as the assistant attorney general in the Office of the Minnesota Attorney General and working as an attorney and shareholder at Moss & Barnett, P.A.[1]
Means began her service as a member of the Minnesota Public Utilities Commission in April 2019.[1]
