Looking at 2020 population estimates compared to 2010Based on estimates from the Census in 2020, Washington, D.C. had the highest estimated gain in population between 2010 and 2020 at 18.46%. The state with the next highest estimated gain was Utah at 17.58%. Some updates on the recall effort against Gov. Gavin NewsomOn March 17, the signature filing deadline passed for the recall effort against California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D). As of March 19, the Secretary of State’s office had processed 1,454,710 signatures and deemed 1,188,073 valid through March 11, a validation rate of 82%.
