Weston Exceed Revenue Limit (2008)

The Weston Exceed Revenue Limit is a school bond issue on the September 9 ballot in the School District of Weston, which is in Richland. The purpose of the referendum was to exceed state-set revenue limits by $210,000 per year for the next 2 years and $575,000 in the following year (totaling $995,000 overall). The additional funds will be used to help pay the basic operational and staffing costs of the school.

Text of measure[edit]

BE IT RESOVED by the School Board of the School District of Weston, Richland and Sauk Counties, that the revenues included in the School District budget be authorized to exceed the revenue limit specified in Section 121.91, Wisconsin Statutes, by $210,000 for the 2008-2009 school year; by $210,000 for the 2009-2010 school year; and by $575,000 for the 2010-2011 school year for non-recurring puposes consisting of operational costs of ongoing instructional programs and District staffing.
