Bobby McFerrin

Robert "Bobby" McFerrin, Jr. (born March 11, 1950) is an American musician noted for his inventive vocal technique and for recording across a variety of musical genres. McFerrin has won ten Grammy Awards.

He is the son of classical musicians, singer and professor Sara Copper (McFerrin) and the late Robert McFerrin.

His best known work is probably the novelty song Don't Worry, Be Happy, for which he won the Grammy for best male pop vocal performance, and record of the year.

Albums include Hush, with cellist Yo-yo Ma, 1992 and Paper Music with the St. Paul Chamber orchestra, 1995.
