B.C.'s largest city is Vancouver, host of the 2010 Olympic Games. The province's capital is Victoria, located on Vancouver Island.
British Columbia's land area is 944,735 square kilometres, which is about the size of France, Germany and the Netherlands combined.
British Columbia is famous for its natural wonders, including the Rocky Mountains and the Okanagan Valley in the Interior of British Columbia. The Gulf Islands archipelago is home to many cottages and residences.
