Habitual abortion

From Citizendium - Reading time: 1 min

In obstetrics, habitual abortion, also called recurrent spontaneous abortion, is "three or more consecutive spontaneous abortions."[1]

One cause may be thrombophilia.

Prevention[edit]

Heparin and aspirin do not help in the absence of an identifiable thrombophilia.[2]
