Hephaistos

From Citizendium - Reading time: 1 min

Hephaistos [r]: From Greek mythology, (Roman: Vulcan) he was a god of smithing and represents fire who was the son of Zeus and Hera, or perhaps the son of Hera alone (without Zeus, which may explain why he's lame and ugly.) In the Iliad he's married to Charis but in the Odyssey he's married to Aphrodite. [e]
