The Milwaukee Brewers are a Major League Baseball team based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The team was founded as the Seattle Pilots in 1969 as an expansion team in the American League. The team played in the American League from 1969 through the 1997 seasons, and the National League from the 1998 season to the present.[1]
The team has never had a championship-winning season. They were American League champions, but lost in the World Series, in 1982. [2]
