Mohammed Yunis is an Afghan Taliban leader, affiliated with the Quetta shura, who was the Taliban shadow governor of Zabul Province until his reported capture. He should not be confused with Muhammad Yunis (Bangladesh), Nobel Peace Laureate from Bangladesh,

He is on the U.S.[1] and U.K.[2] financial block lists of terrorist supporters.

While the reporting is quite limited, Pakistan indicated it captured Yunis and is holding him. [3]
