Throat Culture is a five member semiprofessional a cappella band formed in 1990 and based in Columbus, Ohio. They sing a variety of material, from original compositions, through pop covers and doo-wop to gospel.

Members include Betsy Brickey, Bernard Wilburn, Kevin Perotti and John Bolzenius. Albums include "a cappella head" (1994) and "Up With Angst". They have have appeared live in venues from the Dublin (Ohio) civic summer music series to A Prairie Home Companion, and have opened for groups such as Moxy Fruvous and Dionne Warwick.
