1999 is a popular song by Prince, from his album of the same name.

In the song the singer has a dream that the Apocalypse has come upon the Earth, and believing that the world would end in the year 2000 ("two thousand-zero-zero, party over, oops out of time") he decides to take the approach to "eat, drink and be merry, for tomorrow we die" ("so tonight I'm going to party like its 1999").
