Abortion in Sweden

From Conservapedia - Reading time: 1 min

Sweden is a very pro-abortion country

Sweden is a very pro-abortion country.

In 2017, the country tried to challenge U.S. President Donald Trump's re-establishment of the Mexico City Policy which blocked funding to international organizations providing abortions,[1] and it also blocked funding to international organizations that did not provide abortions.[2]

In 2017, the Swedish Labour Court of Appeal ruled that a pro-life midwife can be forced to perform abortions even if she objects.[3] As of August 2017, the case is being appealed in the European Court of Human Rights.[4]
