American History Strategy

From Conservapedia - Reading time: 1 min

The challenge to this fall's American history course is to learn the truth and yet still be able to do well on the liberal College Board exams. Suggestions are welcome below.

Plan A: In respect to common liberal false claims about American history, tell students what those common false claims are but offer evidence and arguments on why those false claims are false. Of course, there are points on which liberals and conservatives agree about American history such as who the first American president was.

Plan B: In the first class, teach the most common forms of liberal distortions:

  • denial of Christian and conservative accomplishment
  • denial of the adversarial nature of politics, government and world affairs
  • promotion of liberal culture

Plan C: Teach the common denial that that majority of important progress came from conservative thinkers and politicians.
