Beak

From Conservapedia - Reading time: 1 min

The beak is the hardened external mouthpiece of all species of bird. It is mainly used for eating, but can also be used for grooming and manipulating the outside world. The shape of a bird's beak is determined by what its primary function is. For example, hawks and owls have sharp, curved beaks designed for tearing at flesh, while hummingbirds have long slender beaks designed to be inserted into flowers.
