Belmont Stakes

The Belmont Stakes is a horse race held each year in June in Elmont, New York. The first race was in 1867 and it is a 1.5 mile race for 3 year old horses. It is a part of horse racing's Triple Crown, along with the Preakness Stakes and the Kentucky Derby.
