Blonde (film) is a movie released in late September 2022, which includes a graphic abortion scene and a profound expression of regret by Marilyn Monroe later for being subjected to that. Pro-aborts are furious about the pro-life theme of the movie, and have buried it with unfairly terrible reviews and ratings.[1] Fair reviewers describe the performance by the lead actress Ana de Armas, in portraying Monroe, as sensational.
The movie received an unexpected, unexplained NC-17 rating, which means it is for adults 18 and older only. Its production costs were $22 million. This movie is based on a novel by Joyce Carol Oates about Marilyn Monroe memoir, also called Blonde.[2] The ostracizing NC-17 rating was a surprise to the director, and speculation is that liberals Hollywood executives punished the movie for its negative portrayal of abortion and liberal icon President John F. Kennedy. The movie portrays JFK as a sexual predator, to the dismay of the liberal media and thereby breaching a half-century of liberal censorship against telling the truth about JFK.
Its director is the New Zealand-born Andrew Dominik, who also directed the highly acclaimed Western The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford (2007). Brad Pitt was the lead producer of Blonde. Its budget was $22 million, and due to its only limited release in theaters it is not disclosed if the movie sales covered its costs.
The movie filmed Monroe's death scene at the exact same location where she had her untimely, and never fully explained, death.
Use of Black and White[edit]
The movie has an interesting use of black-and-white, switching to it from color multiple times. Scenes concerning her fame and publicity are mostly in black-and-white, as is a famous scene from her movie The Seven Year Itch (1955).
Acting[edit]
The acting was critically acclaimed, particularly by the lead actress. But critics apparently disliked some of the pro-life themes in the script of this movie.
Joe DiMaggio[edit]
This movie is unjustifiably and incredibly harsh in its portrayal of Joe DiMaggio,[3] who was one of the few people who did not exploit Marilyn Monroe. DiMaggio is the one who arranged for her to have a proper funeral and burial.
