Bowl Championship Series

From Conservapedia - Reading time: 1 min

The Bowl Championship Series, more commonly known as the BCS, is the championship system of NCAA Division I football. The series consists of five bowls: the Rose Bowl, the FedEx Orange Bowl, the Allstate Sugar Bowl, the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl, and the BCS National Championship.

Criticism[edit]

Several people of note, including former Heisman Trophy winners Danny Wuerfell and Andre Ware[1] and current President Barack Hussein Obama,[2] have voiced their favor of dumping the BCS for an eight or ten team playoff, respectively. The idea behind the suggestion is that it would allow the teams to settle it on the field.
