Castleford Tigers Rugby League Football Club[1][2] are an
English rugby league club based in the town of Castleford, West Yorkshire. They are current members of the professional top-flight European competition, the
Engage Super League.

The club was founded in 1926 as Castleford RLFC and added "Tigers" to their name for the 1992/2 season. Their home ground is known as "The Jungle" after a former commercial sponsor (Jungle.com) but was previously known by its street location of "Wheldon Road". The club's current sponsor is the catlog-retailer Argos. The club are sometimes known as 'Cas', 'Cas Tigers' or 'Classy Cas'.
The club was relegated from the Super League in 2006 but regained admission for the 2008 season.
