Changchun (Simplified: 长春; Traditional: 長春; Hanyu pinyin: Chángchūn; Wade-Giles: Ch'ang-ch'un; Meaning: "long spring") is the capital of Jilin province in the People's Republic of China. It was the seat of the Japanese occupation during World War II. Today, it is known as a center for automobile manufacturing. It is also home to one of the largest film producers in China.
