Clerks is a 1994 film by American movie director Kevin Smith. Brian O'Halloran and Jeff Anderson play the title roles, clerks in a convenience store and a video rental store. Kevin Smith appears in the movie as the character Silent Bob, a recurring character in many of Smith's films. The movie received an R rating due to vulgar language.
