Community gardening

From Conservapedia - Reading time: 1 min

Community gardening is the practice of dividing one large plot of land into smaller plots, which are then used as individual gardens by different people or groups of people. Community gardening is growing in popularity in urban areas, where land is at a premium. This allows people living in apartments or condominiums, who may not have access to the land necessary to plant a garden, to pay a small fee in order to rent a portion of a larger plot of land that they can then use as their own garden. Each garden community may have its own restrictions and regulations as to what chemicals may or may not be used by the gardeners; these are made known to the gardener in the contract to rent the garden.
