Cord (measure)

A Cord is a measurement used for firewood. Once cord has a volume of 128 cubic feet, and is measured as four feet tall by four feet deep by eight feet wide of neatly stacked wood. This is a commonly used measurement, but is not a legally recognized quantity by the United States government.[1]
