Cork

From Conservapedia - Reading time: 1 min

Cork (Irish: Corcaigh) is a city and port in County Cork on the south coast of Ireland, in the Republic of Ireland, in the province of Munster. It originated as a monastic center in the seventh century, and endured a number of raids during the Viking era.

Cork is also a soft wood material used to stop up bottles of wine, champagne, and other alcoholic drinks.
