Counseling

From Conservapedia - Reading time: 1 min

Counseling is a therapeutic technique, involving listening to and advising people in distress.

Liberal interpretations of counseling involve the promotion of 'victim status' amongst those counseled, the encouragement of atheistic viewpoints, and the encouragement of dependency socialism. Liberal counselors also actively discourage and attempt to censor conservative stances in counseling.

Conservative counseling aims to help the recipient by encouraging self-belief and self-help. Recipients are encouraged to seek and find inner strength through belief and trust in God, as the background for self-reliance and a taking of responsibility for ones own actions. It can frequently involve tough love programs.
