Crimes against peace

From Conservapedia - Reading time: 1 min

Crimes against peace was a broad precedent-setting group of war crimes established by the Nuremberg War Crimes Tribunal relating to violations of international treaty obligations such as the Treaty of Munich in 1938, the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact of 1939, and the Versailles Treaty of 1919. Diplomats who knowingly entered into peace agreements with no intention to carry out the obligations under treaty law could be held personally responsible. German Foreign Minister Joachim von Ribbentrop was convicted under this provision of war crimes and executed.
