Deicide

From Conservapedia - Reading time: 1 min

Deicide is the killing of God. It is from the Latin words "deus", meaning God, and cidium, meaning killing.

Deicide may refer specifically to the Crucifixion of Jesus Christ. The term is often used within an anti-Semitic context to claim that all Jewish people are collectively responsible for the death of Jesus.

Deicide may also refer to the killing of one of the deities of a polytheistic religion.
