East Africa is an often ill-defined geopolitical region, consisting of a core of 3 countries - Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania - in addition to fellow countries which make up the eastern-most region of Africa. These countries include Djibouti, Eritrea, Ethiopia, and Somalia (The Horn of Africa). The list often also includes Sudan, Mozambique, Madagascar, Malawi and fellow East African Community (EAC) members Burundi and Rwanada.[1]
