From Conservapedia - Reading time: 1 min

In Greek myth, Electra was a daughter of King Agamemnon of Mycenae and Cassandra. She is featured in many dramas from the Athenian tragedies to modern times, as the heroic daughter who supported her brother, Orestes, in avenging her father's death at the hands of her mother. She is said to have later married Orestes' faithful friend, Pylades.
