Expressen (English: The express) is one of the two major tabloids in Sweden, founded in 1944. It's political views are centre-right, describing itself as "independent liberal".
In 1991, the chief editor Erik MÃ¥nsson was forced to quit after publish the very controversial headline Out with them!, referring to immigrants.
In 2005, they were reported to the police by the famous actor Mikael Persbrandt after publishing an article falsely claiming that he had recently suffered from a sever case of alcohol poisoning.
