  • The Musée d'Orsay, is housed in a beautiful old train station. Countless impressionist and expressionist masterpieces are held here. [1]
  • Musée du Luxembourg: The first Impressionist exhibition to be held in a national museum took place here.
  • The Marmottan Monet Museum has the largest Claude Monet collection in the world.
  • The Matisse Museum has been welcoming visitors to its collection of works left by Henri Matisse (and his heirs) to the city of Nice where he lived from 1918 until 1954. [2]
