Florida public schools

From Conservapedia - Reading time: 1 min

Florida public schools are considered among the most flexible in the United States. Florida has 700 charter schools and 600 magnet schools, in addition to a tuition voucher that helps some families attend some of the 2,300 private schools.[1] School districts are organized by county (i.e. each county is a separate school district).

Any student may attend any public school in the state, if there is room, but families are responsible for their own transportation to schools outside their district.

Homeschoolers are generally allowed to play in public school sports in Florida, as Tim Tebow famously did. Some limitations or conditions may exist depending on the school district.
