Game Boy Advance

From Conservapedia - Reading time: 1 min

The Game Boy Advance is a 32-bit handheld game console created and released by Nintendo in 2001. It is the successor to the Game Boy Color. The Game Boy Advance is backward compatible with both Game Boy and Game Boy Color cartridges.

Original Game Boy Advance units were criticized for not having a backlit option, which often resulted in glare. This problem was remedied with the 2003 redesign, the Game Boy Advance SP. In 2005, another model was released, the Game Boy micro, which removed compatibility with Game Boy and Game Boy Color games. The same year, newer models of the Game Boy Advance SP were released, and these have an even brighter backlit screen.
