Goodwill Industries is an American charity which provides job training, employment placement services, and other community-based programs for people who have barriers preventing them from otherwise obtaining a job.

They are best known for their nationwide network of thrift stores, which provide the majority of their funding.

They have been criticized for using a special provision of law, Section 14(c) of the Fair Labor Standards Act of 1938, which allows them to obtain "special wage certificates" giving them the legal right to pay workers less than the federal minimum wage,^[1] while paying their executives extremely high compensation.
