Hieronymus Bosch

From Conservapedia - Reading time: 1 min

Hieronymus Bosch (born Jeroen Anthoniszoon van Aken) ('s-Hertogenbosch ca. 1450 – 's-Hertogenbosch 1516) was a Dutch Renaissance painter . In Spanish he is better known as "el Bosco". His works frequently depict sin, evil, and human moral failings; some of them are triptychs.

Some writers saw him as inventor of monsters and chimeras inspired by medieval heresies, but for others he was a sort of 15th century surrealist.

Several of his works are at the Prado Museum in Madrid.
