Hospital Corporation of America (HCA) is the largest private operator of hospitals and other healthcare institutions in the United States.[1] It was founded in 1968 by former Senator Bill Frist and his family. It is a privately held corporation. Former Florida Governor and now US Senator Rick Scott was once the CEO of the company.
