John Hopkins Foster (1862 - 1917) (also known as John H. Foster)^[1] was a Republican representative from Indiana. Born in Evansville, Indiana, Foster was a lawyer by profession. He became a member of the Indiana's House in 1893 and went on to become a state judge. When James A. Hemenway resigned to become Senator, John H. Foster was elected to fill his place which he did until AD 1909 when he want back to practicing law in his hometown until his death on September 5, 1917.^[2][3]
