The Korean Social Democratic is a political party in North Korea. The original political philosophy of the party was social democracy. The party was set up by Christians and supporters of a capitalist and democratic Korea. Unfortunately, the party was infiltrated by the demands of Kim Il Sung. The party is now used as a propaganda piece to give the illusion to North Koreans that their country is not a dictatorship but a democratic multiparty system. The party is a member of Democratic Front for the Reunification of the Fatherland.
The current leader of the party is Kim Yong Dae who serves as the Chairman of the Central Committee of the Korean Social Democratic Party.[1]
