Liberal misinformation about coronavirus

A campaign of liberal misinformation about coronavirus has included liberal denial about the benefits of early treatment for the virus. This included hydroxychloroquine denial, which likely resulted in thousands upon thousands of needless deaths.

On November 19, 2020, a Senate committee led by Senator Ron Johnson (R-WI) heard from multiple renowned experts who properly emphasized the benefits of early treatment for COVID-19. But at that same hearing Dr. Ashish Jha as Dean of the Brown University School of Public Health -- a liberal institution -- gave a flawed presentation in opposition and subsequently published an Op-ed in the New York Times on November 24 which has been criticized and debunked.[1]
