Little Green Footballs is a popular political blog run by California web designer Charles Johnson. It features humorous news items on the War on Terror, Islam and the Arab-Israeli conflict. Johnson flies in the face of traditional right-wing conservatism by posting in favor of evolution regarding the "evolution vs. Intelligent Design" issue. He has also defended Obama against allegations that he bowed in deference before Saudi King Abdullah by claiming "Bush Bowed Too[sic]"^[1] (even though President Bush's "bow" was so that Abdullah could place a medal around his neck) and has decried attempts by conservatives to verify Obama's U.S. citizenship.^[2]

Charles Johnson describes himself as a "liberal mugged by reality" a la Irving Kristol.
