Massive Ordnance Penetrator (MOP) is a highly sophisticated, 15-Ton weapon designed to penetrate deep buried bunkers. Built by Boeing, the U.S. Air Force will be utilizing B-2 bombers and GPS guidance to deliver the ordnance. It will be the largest non-nuclear bomb in the U.S. arsenal.[1] Typical targets can range from clandestine WMD facilities to command-and-control military headquarters. MOP's dimensions are 20 feet long, 31.5" diameter, just shy of 30,000 pounds. Northrop Grumman has led the way equipping MOP into the B-2 fleet since July 2007. Each B-2 is capable of carrying two MOPs.
