A Master of Science in Finance (also M.S.F. or M.Fin) in advanced degree intended to give its student the necessary skills in financial analysis to succeed in modern global markets. Although often confused with an Master of Business Administration degree, an M.S.F. normally includes much less of a management and marketing focus, and instead relates directly to and focuses on applicable sectors of finance (especially options, derivatives, risk management and sometimes stochastic calculus in financial engineering programs).[1][2]
